Ballet of the Sky 2004

For those of you not familiar with Freestyle or 3-D flying, it consists of no-holds barred routines where anything goes as long as safety rules are not compromised in the process.  The contestants may use music or special effects to enhance their performance.  Freestyle is enjoyable for the pilots because it gives them a chance to show their stuff and the spectators love it because of its high entertainment value.  For this year’s program, the 7th^th in the Ballet of the Sky series, we picked the best flights from the 2 top aerobatic money events in the world; the Don Lowe Masters from Greenville, South Carolina, which offered $50,000 in prize money, and the Tucson Aerobatic Shootout with $82,000 cash and merchandise.  Needless to say, with purses of such magnitude, these events drew the top competitors in the world.  In addition to all the big names we’re also pleased to be able to bring you several pilots that are new to Ballet of the Sky.  As always, featured pilots will pull out all the stops to impress and entertain you. We’ll show you routines that include lots of smoke, unbelievable maneuvers and great musical selections.
