JOE NALL 2005

Welcome to Triple Tree Aerodrome in Woodruff, South Carolina and our 7th year of covering the largest Fun-Fly event in the world.  If you enjoy seeing a variety of different airplanes, Joe Nall is definitely your cup of tea.  With over 500 airplanes in attendance, our editors picked a nice cross section for your viewing pleasure.  Our featured models include aerobatic scale planes, warbirds, civilian aircraft, electrics and multi engine models.  For the noontime airshows, we were entertained by the full-scale aerial ballet of Matt Chapman and Mike Mancuso, the R/C helicopter antics of Curtis Youngblood, the extreme aerobatics of Quique Somenzini and the scorching flight of Bob Violett’s F-86.  Mark Leseberg demonstrated a 40% aerobatic model powered by 4 electric motors ganged together.    In addition to all the action, we’ll take you to the biggest barbeque in the modeling world which fed over 1000 hungry model aircraft enthusiasts.
